How I gave up processed foods and why it matters, by Megan Kimble I am so motivated after watching this video, How I gave up processed foods and why it matters, by Megan Kimble! I only wish I had watched it before visiting one of my local farmer’s markets in Rosemary Beach yesterday; I would have bought more! Which reminds me, I need to take pictures of the Rosemary farmer’s market and the Seaside farmer’s market. The market closest to me is great but, small. Check out the link above, “my local farmer’s markets. I’ll follow up soon with some new photos of the other two; they are impressive! Read more about Megan and her journey here. There’s a constant battle that goes on in my head when planning meals and shopping for food. I want to support local farmers and eat as fresh and healthy as possible, obvi. Also, we are a family of six. I’ve mentioned before that we spend more money on our groceries than we do our mortgage and we don’t live in a dump. My oldest son is a 6 foot, 3 inch athlete and as my five year old son says, “He’s an eatta.” i.e eater. Ha! Ha! Nooo kidding, kiddo! Despite that it took several years to get here, none of my four kids are picky eaters. This is a blessing, but a grocery budget impasse.
