Every time I visit or pass a Chick-Fil-A, it’s slammed, inside and out!   It’s quick, it’s easy, it tastes good and there’s a play area…major plus!  Most Chick-Fil-A locations have a kids-eat-free night once per week…SUPER plus!  Everyone wins!  But, WAIT!  You’re making your kids and taste buds happy, but what are you doing to your waistline?  

Don’t Be Fooled By Salad!

Chick-Fil-A Honey Peppercorn Salad If you think you’re doing well by eating the Honey Peppercorn Salad, think again!  Aside from the milkshakes, this salad has more calories than anything else on the menu!  That goes for the Cobb Salad as well with greater than 500 calories and that doesn’t count dressing.

Want to know what to order that won’t break your calorie bank for the entire day?  Well, here you have it!  I’ve done the math for you!  

The following Chick-Fil-A meals are <500 calories:

  1. 4 Count Grilled Nuggets with large chicken noodle soup, small ice dream cone with water or diet drink (480 calories) OR with small superfood salad and small lemonade (440)

  2. 12 Count Chick-Fil-A Nuggets, large fruit cup with water or diet drink (470)

  3. 12 Count Grilled Nuggets with a frosted lemonade made with diet lemonade (450) OR with small waffle fries with water or diet drink (490)

  4. 8 Count Chick-Fil-A Nuggets with a small lemonade (480) OR with small superfood side and small fruit cup with water or a diet drink (460)  

  5. 6 Count Chick-Fil-A Nuggets, small fries with water or diet drink (470) OR small fruit cup and small lemonade (460) OR with small chicken noodle soup, small ice dream cone with water or diet drink (490)

  6. 6 Count Grilled Chicken Nuggets, small fries, large fruit cup with water or diet drink (470) OR small superfood side and small lemonade (480) OR small chicken noodle soup and frosted lemonade made with diet lemonade (480)

  7. Grilled Chicken Sandwich with a small ice dream cone, water or diet drink (480) OR with small superfood side,  water or diet drink (460)

  8. Chicken Sandwich with small fruit cup and water or diet drink (490)

  9. Spicy Chicken Sandwich with water or diet drink (450)

  10. Grilled Chicken Cool Wrap, small chicken noodle soup with water or diet drink (490) OR with large fruit cup, water or diet drink (440) 

  11. Grilled Chicken Club Sandwich with small fruit cup, water or diet drink (480)

  12. Grilled Market Salad with small chicken noodle soup, water or diet drink (460) OR with small superfood side and water or diet drink (480)

  13. 4 Count Chicken Strips with water or diet drink (470)

  14. Spicy Southwest Salad with water or diet drink (450)

I can’t forget about the sauce!   Worst choices:  Chick-Fil-A Sauce (sorry), Garlic & Herb Ranch Sauce Best choices:  Zesty Buffalo Sauce, Honey Mustard Sauce Which dressing you ask? Worst choices:  Avocado Lime Ranch (Crikey! I love that dressing) with a shocking 310 calories and 32 grams of fat, Creamy Salsa Dressing with 290 calories and 31 grams of fat, and not too far behind, Garlic & Herb Ranch and surprisingly, Zesty Apple Cider Vinaigrette Best choices:  Fat Free Honey Mustard, Light Italian Dressing, Chili Lime Vinaigrette and Light Balsamic Vinaigrette

If you frequent Chick-Fil-A, Copy.  Print.  Laminate.  Put it in your purse or side pocket of your car!

  1. Hey that is sad that the SALAD 🥗 is the item with the most calories good thing I stick to my usual the 8 count chicken nuggets……. BTW this is one of your little MONSTERS love ya

    1. Chick-Fil-A is so popular around here! Some salads are great and can be super healthy! It’s usually bacon, croutons and dressings that add loads of calories and fat. Thanks for the comment!
